sargaḥ —creation of the universe; visargaḥ —subcreation; sthānam — the planetary systems; poṣaṇam — protection; ūtayaḥ — the creative impetus; manvantara — changes of Manus; īśa-anukathāḥ — the science of God; nirodhaḥ — back home, back to Godhead; muktiḥ — liberation; āśrayaḥ — the summum bonum.
