Commissioner Robert Scott Visits with Pillow Panthers on the 1st Day of School
Dr. Webb introduces Commissioner Scott to Pillow 5th Graders
Pillow 5th Graders are eager to share with Mr. Scott about what makes Pillow special. . . “great teachers” . . . “we work hard” . . . “we get lots of awards”. . . “Dr. Webb and Mrs. King!”
“Mr. Scott, What is it like to be in charge of over 4 million students in Texas?”
Ms. Rech’s 5th Graders are all ears when Dr. Webb is speaking.
Mrs. Barrett’s 2nd Graders share what they are learning today in class! (and they are very impressed by Mr. Scott’s bilingual skills)
Ms. Rech and her students build a criteria for a cooperative learning community. Then she introduces the Interactive Notebook using her own as an example.
Ms. Rech has plenty of educational magazines so that each student can personalize their own Interactive Student Notebook
