Purpose of the E-Club The purpose of The Drucker Entrepreneurship Club is to serve as a nexus to students, faculty, alumni, and administration to facilitate the development of an entrepreneurial community within Claremont Graduate University. The Drucker Entrepreneurship Club members shall work together to foster innovation and entrepreneurship at Claremont Graduate University. The Drucker E-Club shall make available entrepreneurial resources, sponsor educational and social events to further the knowledge and spirit of entrepreneurialism, and inspire and support the creation of successful new ventures. The Entrepreneurship Club Constitution is online and will be ratified in the next month. Your comments are encouraged.

Scheduled Events for the Semester • DINNER SERIES MEETING - February 4, 20055:30pm, Location to be announcedLearn from the achievements of a true entrepreneur!  The open forum Dinner Series Meeting will give E-Club members the honor of meeting with  a local restaurant owner entrepreneur.  Don't miss this opportunity to listen to this entrepreneur, while dining at his restaurant, as he discusses the challenges he encountered while starting a small business, and ultimately the successes he made. • CREATIVITY COMPETITION  -  February 18, 20055:30pm,Burkle Building, Room 12This is a meeting every E-Club member shouldn't miss.  All "Creative Competition" teams will present their "creative idea" to a panel of judges.  The winning team will be announced at this meeting and presented with an award.  Join us for food and refreshments after the competition to celebrate with all the teams participating.

Scheduled Events for the Semester • TOUR AND DINNER MEETING - March 3, 20054:00pm,Location to be announcedThis meeting will allow the E-Club members to view, first hand, the ins and outs of a local business.  A local entrepreneur has volunteered to host a site tour and discuss their experiences reaching their goals.  Following the tour join us for dinner to get to know the entrepreneur personally! • SPEAKER FORUM-  April 14, 20055:30pm,Burkle Building, Room 16Have you ever wondered if you had what it takes to start your own business? What roadblocks you would face in doing so? How you would go about getting financing? Well here is your chance to find out!! Come listen to the stories of three successful entrepreneurs in an engaging and interactive setting. Hear about their experiences and learn what challenges they faced and how they overcame them. Food and beverages will be served.

They will discuss how you go about securing an SBA loan for a small business. {PLEASE ADD A BETTER DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT AND DATE IF AVAILABLE} • BRAINSTORMING SESSION – To be determinedDo you have a great idea for a business or product. This will be an intimate session for those of you that want to share your ideas with other club members. This session will be led by a venture capitalist who will give you feedback and advice in taking your idea to the market. {PLEASE ADD A BETTER DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT AND DATE IF AVAILABLE}
