What do Students’ Do on Day 1? • Read a short overview of career information • Take a pretest • Create an online Portfolio • Teachers have the option to create students user name and password. Example: first and last name with last three digits of phone number or last name and first initial and last three digits of student number: davesmith403 or smithd453

Administrative Tools & Portfolio Reports With the new administrative tools you can: -Create portfoliosfor your clients/studentspre-assign usernames and passwords -Create, organize and manage groups(e.g. Career Class, Class of 200?) -Look up forgotten passwords and usernames -View reports using various criteria (e.g. occupations & schools researched, assessments taken
Administration Login Administration Site Address! http://okcis.intocareers.org/administration New url (location) then type in your administrative user name and password (e.g. schoolname_admin and admin) Note: Your site’s administrative login is assigned. It is given to the OKCIS contact coordinator who represents your site.

Reports • Site Usage - System usage displays information on the number and type of accounts. You can see how many users have saved specific information in their portfolios, such as occupation titles and school names. • Group Report - For a selected group you can view a summary of how many users have saved information for a particular component. The report will then list the saved components for each member of the group. This is useful to see if students have completed an assignment. • Individual Portfolios - Use this report to look up user names and passwords for individual users or to print a complete summary of their portfolio. You will only be able to view the password and comments (My thoughts) if the user has Opted In. (Opt In - Allows site personal to view students comments and look up their password in case they forget it.)
Data Maintenance • Staff Accounts - Initially you are given one Site Administrator User name and Password. You can create additional accounts so individual staff can create groups of students for reporting purposes. • Groups - You can create groups to organize individual portfolios for reports. Examples: students in a particular grade, students assigned to a particular counselor, students taking a specific class. • Portfolios - You can create portfolios for your students and provide them with their individual user name and password.
