ALABAMA HISTORY • We will study the rich history and attributes of Alabama. Students will learn about significant events in American history and the role our state played in the development of the United States. • Historical documents and democratic principles will be studied to explore American identity. • We will also focus on state government and economic activities associated with Alabama.
DAILY HOMEWORK ROUTINE READING • Read for 20 minutes daily. • Study vocabulary (Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary Test each Friday) • Spelling Test on Thursdays • (spelled out) MATH • Multiplication timed tests are given weekly • A math homework sheet will be given every Monday and will be due every Tuesday.

Parent Communication • NEWSLETTERS These will be given at the beginning of each week with important information. Please go over this with your child. • SIGNED PAPERS: Please sign all test papers and return the next day. All other work you may keep. • CONFERENCES: I am available for conferences Monday through Fridays from 9:15-9:45.
