  2. 18/08/2012 Heavy Rains in Eastern Uganda • Rainfall of 61.7mm/24hr was recorded. • This concurs with what the model depicts.

  3. 01/09/2012 Heavy Rainfall in Eastern and Northern Uganda • 75.2mm/24hr and 77.8mm/24hr of rainfall were recorded in Northern and Eastern parts of the country respectively. • For Eastern, the model agrees.

  4. 06/09/2012 Rainfall in Eastern Uganda • 64.5mm/24hr of rainfall was recorded. • The model depicted this scenario correctly.

  5. 26/09/2012 Heavy Rainfall in Eastern Uganda • 75.2mm/24hr of rainfall was recorded which was well depicted by the model. • The model also depicted heavy rainfall in the Western parts of the country which was not recorded by any weather station in that region.
