Progress of the pilot to date • Phase 1: Planning Stage • ILR questionnaire issued to all Pilot ISP’s • ILR questionnaire completed and returned • Results analysed to determine methodology for each ISP for Phase 2
Lessons Learnt (Phase 1) • Wide variety systems • From paper files to fully automated MIS • Wide variety of processes • Not all ILR data currently captured • System upgrade challenges • Regional variations • Outstanding questions??? • Fixed structure of ILR • Does it address the complex needs of the ISP learner
Pilot success factors • Demonstrate that ISPs can submit an ILR • Develop clear guidance and toolkit for all ISPs • Identify any issues
