Receiver Requirements • Shortest TTFF • Customers do not care about channels, correlators, Ephemeris (extended or not) – they want a fix NOW • Highest sensitivity • Fix under all conditions – no worries about an antenna • Lowest Power consumption • We mainly address telematics applications – but even here for asset tracking this is the second priority – certainly this is very often a combination with short TTFF • Jamming recognition, mitigation, removal • Especially automotive telematics suppliers ask for that – it is already normal in GSM products • Galileo support • Not a big issue today, but especially in Europe, customers are asking

  13. Vcc should be always ON! Toggle ON_OFF from LOW to HIGH to wake up after power on…. Use software command to initiate and get back from SiRFawareTM and other low power modes… Necessary configuration for UART mode: Implementation PRELIMINARY Major difference towards A1084-B! Necessary to enable UART mode! ON_OFF pin must be connected! Necessary to wake up module – even after power off/on!
