Poor Physical or Mental Health: attend workshops; good peer and family relationships; don’t take on too much Working: Time management skills or classes; work with a counselor; try to get job on campus. Excessive Partying: More school-sponsored events; stricter policies re: underage drinking Homesickness: Be active and involved; join clubs Loss of Focus: Join a study group; specified advisors; faculty members involvement Procrastination: Getting helps from school resources; building up your own confidence High Cost of Tuition: scholarships and grants; better fixed tuition rates; Lack of Academic Readiness: focus on individual learning; do more HW and studying; take challenging classes in high school.
