Big Bang Theory dominant scientific theory or model proposed in 1927 by the Belgian astrophysicist George Lemaitre
Big Bang Theory matter & space concentrate to the size of a pinhead rapidly expanded at the speed of light after 3 mins. the universe cooled to 1 billion degrees
Big Bang Theory at 500,000 yrs. old it cooled to 1000 degrees after 1 billion yrs. force of gravity caused matter to form galaxies each galaxy is composed of 1 billion stars surrounded by planets
Evidences supporting the Big Bang 1. The Hubble Expansion “red-shifted ”- moving away “blue-shifted”- moving towards us • Hubble’s Law • Hubble’s Constant
Evidences supporting the Big Bang 2. helium- hydrogen ratio 3. the discovery of the “cosmic noise” in 1964
Creationist taken from Scripture believe in a Supreme Being believe there’s an end have no real evidence
First View God created the universe and all living things advocates of creation believe that the universe, including Earth, is only 6,000- 10,000 yrs. old
