  2. AMORE & QA : Reminder • AliRoot QA can be used in AMORE • Avoid code duplication between offline and online • Two possibilities : • A generic agent to publish all QA histograms • Custom agents to use QA histograms Barthélémy von Haller – CERN PH/AID

Generic QA agent • Depending on the name of the agent, it loads and uses the related XXXQADataMakerRec class in libXXXRec.so • Status : • Ready for AliRoot v4.17 • Species : agent publishes all the histograms of all species. • Loads extra libraries if needed : configuration file to specify which and when to load them • Detectors using it (5) : ACORDE, EMCal, FMD, PHOS and T0 Barthélémy von Haller – CERN PH/AID

QA custom modules • QA used directly in the AMORE agents • Benefits • Publish only a subset of the QA histograms • Add extra information to the histograms • Create new objects based on the QA output • Drawback • Module to be implemented • Detectors using this approach (5) : muon_trk, SDD, SSD, TPC and V0 Barthélémy von Haller – CERN PH/AID
