  3. Hi Hong Chun,What an interesting question! I have never learned about this before so I enjoyed looking for information for you. askeric@askeric.org

  4. I did a search and typed “Egyptian writing” into the search box. I found a site that reminded me that there is a special word for this – hieroglyphics.So then I searched with “Egyptian hieroglyphics”. askeric@askeric.org

  5. I found a great site that has very good information about this kind of writing. It is not easy to explain how they decide where to put their symbols, so it is best if you go to the site and read it for yourself. askeric@askeric.org

You may want to study it with a partner since two brains can often understand things better than one. http://www.ancientegypt.co.uk http://157.182.12.132/omdp/Jami/htm/ The second site tells some information but the best part is an alphabet with coloured drawings of the hieroglyphs. There is also a hieroglyphics writer so you can write your name in hieroglyphics. askeric@askeric.org

  7. I checked many other sites, but these two were the best. You might want to check with the media specialist at your school media center. There might be some great information there too. askeric@askeric.org
