Women in Islam • Islamic law makes no demand that women should confine themselves to household duties. • Women have been given to right to work like men, however they don’t have to work for living. • A believing woman has always had the right to own and manage her own property. • Men are not allowed to treat women with disrespect, to gaze at them, to touch them, to spread rumors about their chastity without four witnesses.

Women in Islam In an Islamic Society, Women have the following rights: • The right and duty to obtain education. • The right to have their own property. • The right to work to earn money. • Equality of reward for equal deeds. • The right to express their opinion and be heard. • The right to provisions from the husband for all her needs.
