Behind the Scenes Source Repository checkpoint 1 Example codebase=“checkpoint24” build=“forward_ocean” gets configuration that forms basis for most MITgcm ocean-only forward runs e.g. 1/6 Atlantic, Global 4° sealion 1.0.0 checkpoint 2 sealion 1.0.1 To extract code specify codebase and build codebase identifies revision of each source file (both development checkpoints and releases are revision controlled) build identifies what files and structure to export
