And the day begins… • Bring all materials to class- Check the door daily. • Know where the pencils and paper are located. Get them if you need them. • Bellringera.k.a. Daily Task will be located in the front of the room. Begin working immediately on this task in your journal. You are expected to do these things daily, without being asked or told. Doing so will help your team earn points!
Procedures Overview Transitions • 10 Second Rule • Quickly and Quietly • Be respectful of other’s materials • Be respectful of teacher’s materials • Leave station/area the way you found it
Procedures Overview Data Notebooks • Each student has one • Located by the window in corresponding class box • Your responsibility to pick it up on the appropriate days and to put it back before you leave class • Take it seriously!
Procedures Overview Turning Your Paper In • Name, date, and number in top right corner • Turn in all papers to front table in your class’s basket • NEVER turn papers in on Mrs. Moorman’s desk
Procedures Overview Tardies • After the 5th to first period, consequence • After 3rd to class, consequence • If you don’t have your hall pass, you may take a tardy
Grades • Follows grading scale • 100-93 A • 92-85 B • 84-75 C • 74-70 • Check PowerSchool frequently (updated every Wednesday) • No extra credit! • Follow GMS late work policy -10pts per day late • Questions about PowerSchool?? Ask Guidance!

If you forget your materials.. • Pencils and paper are located in the drawers under the big window. • Don’t ask; just get it. • Please remember to return your pencils to the drawer. Once they are gone; they are gone. • Mrs. Moorman gladly accepts new pencils for the drawer
At the end of the class period… • Write agenda in your planner • Clean your area • Push chair in • Groups are released that are “ready to go” first • If you are the last one out, turn the light off • Turn in papers to the basket
Expectations Do your best everyday! Leave school feeling proud of what you accomplished. Make goals; Reach goals! Ask for help Give praise Be organized!
