  2. Sports KS2 KS2 Sports Week will be the week beginning 24th June. KS2 Sports Day will be July 5th

  3. Meet the New Teacher We have planned two opportunities for you to meet your child’s new teacher • Monday 15th July 5.30-6.00 pm or • Friday 19th July 2.30-3.00pm

  4. KS2 Picnics These picnics will have a historical theme • July 8th Green Sitting Picnic- 5JM, 5C and Year 6 • July 11th Yellow Sitting Picnic- 4A, 4H, 4GR, 5G and 5H • July 12th Red Sitting Picnic- 4P and all Year 3

  5. KS2 Picnics These picnics will have a summer beach theme • July 16th Red Sitting Picnic- 4P and all Year 3 • July 17th Green Sitting Picnic- 5JM, 5C and Year 6 • July 18th Yellow Sitting Picnic- 4A, 4H, 4GR, 5G and 5H

  6. Annie The year 6 production at the end of the Summer Term will be Annie. The rehearsals have now started and everyone is feeling very excited. As usual, the performances will take place at Varndean on the following dates: July 22nd and 23rd at 7.00 pm

  7. July 10th • Reports feedback for FS/KS1 3.30-5.00 • Open Evening KS2 - Books and reports feedback 3.30-5.00

  8. Other Events • June 25th - Withdean Athletics Championships – am • July 3rd - Swimming Gala at Prince Regent - pm • July 9th - Year 6 taster day at Varndean • July 11th - 3K and 3T to Dorothy Stringer Environment Centre – am • July12th - 3LK and 3C to Dorothy Stringer Environment Centre – am • July 15th - Year 6 taster day at Dorothy Stringer

  9. FAB • The Summer Fete this year will take place on July 6th from 12.00-4.00 pm • Some fantastic activities and stalls will be set up • Also, on June 28th there is a Non-Uniform day and donations for the Summer Fete’s tombolas will be gratefully received.

  10. KS2 Playground We are reminding parents that children should not be dropped off at school before 8.45am. We have noticed that some children are waiting, unsupervised in the playground. The teachers are on duty from 8.45am and are there to supervise the children as they come into school. During this time parents may leave their children if they wish to.
