This does not mean that we can take vaccines or medicines for every disease on the planet mostly because it is logically impossible! Every person whether rich or poor; educated or uneducated is vulnerable to diseases. Now, you must be thinking that what can be done to prevent or cure these diseases! Most disease can be prevented by maintaining social distance and exposure to polluted air; but since we live in a society, it is practically impossible! In such situations, you’re most likely to suffer from some of the common diseases during your lifetime. But, treatment of every disease doesn’t need doctor appointments or vaguely large number of medicines! There are many diseases or ailments that can be easily treated by making little changes in your lifestyle. Chronic Fatigue- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is one of those diseases that is not caused by a particular microorganism or any other external factor! It’s symptoms include pain in various parts of the body, sleep abnormalities, less concentration, anxiety attacks, etc. These symptoms are considered to be result of environmental and mental factors. Though this disease cannot be cured, it can be significantly reduced or controlled by taking some simple steps like taking care of your mental health and focusing on self- care. Migraine- This is probably one of the most common diseases; according to studies there are more than 10 million cases of migraine in India every year! They are characterized by extreme pain in particular part of head occasionally. Other symptoms include feeling nauseous, sensitivity to light, etc. Although, this is a chronic disease, the intensity of headaches can be controlled by simple measures like self- care, improvising sleeping habits and eating more healthy food. Relaxation therapies are also of great help in controlling migraine attacks. Amnesia- Amnesia aka memory loss is a disease which has become prominent in the recent years among youngsters due to increased level of stress and lack of sleep. Its symptoms include forgetfulness and inability to remember important things! Memory loss can be treated by making some changes in your lifestyle like eating nutritious food, getting proper sleep, reducing stress, etc. In extreme situations, getting medical help should be considered.
