Bathroom • ¿Me permiteir al baño? • Make every effort to go on your own time (passing periods, before/after school, lunch) • Ask after teacher instruction has finished. • Take pass • BRING BACK PASS • Frequent trips to the bathroom (i.e. every day habit during this class period) will merit scrutiny and evaluation for possible abuse of privilege.

  3. Tardies • Don’t be. • If late, LEGIBLY sign in on the clip board (make sure it’s the current period of the day). No discussion will take place at this time. • Go to your desk & try your best to get on track with little distraction to those who made it on time. • A pass from another teacher is NOT an excuse for being late.

  4. Absences • It happens. • If you’re sick, STAY @ HOME! • All BJH guidelines for make-up work/missed work will be followed, so make sure you read your handbook. • Upon return, make plans to talk to me about what you missed before class, after class or during advisory (ask for a pass).

  5. Materials • Pen/pencil (sharpen before class); one blue/black & one red pen • Loose leaf paper • 1 inch binder • Index cards for magnet summaries and TOD’s • Bring the above every day • Classroom/home texts provided • Workbooks: stay in classroom

  6. YearlyPortfolio • What is included? • Do you have to keep both semesters? • Do you have to take it to a professional for binding & fancy dividers at the end of the year? • How is it organized? • Self-assessment @ end of each chapter

  10. Fire Drills • Out the door, turn right, out that door, walk until I tell you to stop. • One person will be chosen by me to be line leader. • We stand in a straight line very quietly.
