Second trialrule 2-2-1b • Interference not within the control of the performer • Torn hand guard • Power failure • Broken equipment • Remedies available to the gymnast • Repeat exercise in its entirety • Continue from point of interruption • Request for a second trial must come before score is flashed • Chief judge determines the time for the second trial • Score of the second trial shall be final www.nfhs.org
