Please RSVP by Thursday 16th October to Rogersa2@lsbu.ac.uk For Black History Month (UK), Ajamu and LSBU presents an evening of creativity to celebrate the lived experiences of Trans, Gender Variant and Intersex People of Colour Translation Network: Translations Network (for and by UK-based Trans, Gender Variant and Intersex People of Colour) presents: Translations: a ground breaking photography, video and text project by Camel Gupta, working with Ajamu and Hayley Reid. Translations celebrates and makes visible the lives of Trans, Gender Variant and Intersex People of Colour in the UK. All the participants tell their own stories and determine their own images. We Are Here! ‘Rage and Desire’ is a partnership between Acclaimed Photographer and Cultural Producer Ajamu and Dr. Antoine Rogers of LSBU It includes a program of themed events, with academic discussions, international speakers, seminars, film screenings and exhibitions exploring Black and Asian LGBT academic and cultural production in the 20th Century.
