  15. Treatment • Advocacy • Immunosuppressive Drugs: Legislation to expand coverage of immunosuppressive drugs for kidney transplant recipients. NKF government relations staff and patient advocates have met with 100 congressional offices so far this year to help secure support . • Take Action Network: Over 1100 people took action on NKF’s request to contact Congress about supporting the Immunosuppressive Legislation. http://donate.kidney.org/site/PageServer?pagename=ActionCenter • Home Dialysis Alliance : As a member of the Steering Committee, NKF is actively working to address barriers and expand access to this underused therapy, which can improve patients’ quality of life and increase survival.
