  3. TheStatueofLibertyisattheentrence to New York harbour. Itwas a giftfrom France and commemoratestheFrench-American AllianceduringtheAmericanRevolution. Libertycarriesthetorch offreedom in her right hand and issteppingoutofbrokenchains.
