Why do we do dissection? • Benchmarking • What are the strengths and weaknesses of the product? • Are our customers satisfied? • What is the quality of the manufacturing? • Identify ‘best practice’ • Reverse Engineering • What are our competitors’ solutions to similar problems? • What can we learn from them?
Dissection Benchmarking Exercise #3 • Create a OneNote team collaboration • optional • Follow the instructions carefully in the benchmarking document • Carefully take apart the engine • Keep track of the parts! • You have to put it back together correctly to receive full credit!
