Think, Pair, Share Activity • Break into groups of about 2-3 people. • Discuss within your group the following questions: • How would you incorporate health education within a classroom? • How would you overcome barriers to resistance of health education in the classroom? • How do you reward students without food? • How would you promote healthy fundraising? • What are some ways healthy ways to fundraise? • We will share all ideas as a group in the end!
Involved vs. Engaged • Involved – Do your part, but may not interact with others • Popsicles on the Playground • Field Trip • Engaged – An activity is done with purpose and with others • Family Hopes and Dreams • Parent Camp
Think, Pair, Share Activity • Break into groups of about 3-4 people. • Stand in front of one of the WSCC components posted around the room. • Think about what standards, best practices, resources, and championsyour school is currently utilizing in the component areas. • When the music stops rotate clockwise to the next component. (every 2-3 minutes) • We will share all ideas as a group in the end!

Round Table Discussion • At your table you will discuss how the specified WSCC component aligns with the TSET Sample Wellness Policy. • For each component you will have 15 minutes. • After each 15 minutes you will rotate to the next table. • We will come back as a group to share all ideas!
