  2. What is zillow.com • Zillow.com is a website that gives information on estimates on the values of people homes or an appraisal. • Information like this can be used by real estate agents to gouge prices among other things because of how the information is given.

  3. Do you think this site violates anyone’s privacy? Why or why not? • I think may invade peoples privacy a little bit, but I think is necessary so that people can more easily buy homes and home shop more easily.

  4. Find and describe features that demonstrate zillow.com is a web 2.0 company. • Zillow.com is a web 2.0 company because it gives information and tracks homes as a service online to its users.

Explain why this site may be considered a threat by traditional real estate companies. • It may be a threat to real estate companies because it would show you the general value of a home so that the real estate industry would have to price closer to what information sites such as these meaning less profits.

  6. How might real estate agents use this site to market their services? • They might use it to show how their house reflects the rest of their neighborhood. They could also use the site to show the price ranges of different homes in different neighborhoods.

  7. How might real estate brokers use this site to their advantage? • They could use it to try to convince customers their prices are reasonable. They could also use it to determine prices of their own and they can increase the price based on what zillow.com says the price should be.
