  3. Summary of activities since Session #45 • Background: Initial Report of the ITU-R Liaison Group during Session #45 in Mt. Tremblant: IEEE L802.16-06/022 • In response to the Call for Contributions on the IMT-2000 Proposal IEEE L802.16-06/024, there has been some activity in the ITU Liaison Group forum: http://dot16.org/forum/index.php, including contributions and two conference calls. • “It was generally agreed that 802.16 would contribute a proposal for the addition of a sixth terrestrial radio interface in a revision of Rec. ITU-R M.1457, including A1.1 and A1.2 (of the M.1225 RTT Description Template), though not all elements of those tables could be contributed by IEEE. It is expected that other organizations will submit complementary material in support of the proposal.”

  4. Objectives for Session #46 • Prepare contribution(s) to ITU-R WP 8F on:- IMT-2000 Proposal IEEE L802.16-06/024- Proposed Edits to ITU-R Rec. M.1457 (I80216-06_002r1.pdf)- M.1225 RTT Description Template (I80216-06_003.doc) - Review WiMAX Forum contribution (expected tonight) • Prepare a response to IEEE L802.16-06/027: Statement from WiMAX Forum regarding IMT-2000 Proposal • Prepare a response to the Liaison Statement from ITU-R WP 8A and WP 8F on the “Development of a PDN Report ITU-R M.[IP CHAR] "Key technical and operational characteristics for access technologies to support IP applications over mobile systems" http://ieee802.org/secmail/msg08730.html
