  4. Power button/backlight: Press once to switch on or off phone. Speaker Power button (top of phone) Notification Lights Quick Access button: Internet Quick Access button: Inbox • Mobility – E-mail on the move general Qwerty Keyboard: Slide the main screen to the right, to reveal the keyboard. Main Screen Qwerty Keyboard (Pull out) Reset Button (on side) SOFT KEYS: Actions command shown above the button. Right SOFT KEY Left SOFT KEY Call End Call/Close Make a call: Press thisbutton to answer an incoming call or to dial a number. Stylus (side of phone) Navigation Pad Navigation Pad: Press to move up/down and left/right through any drop-down menus or program instructions. Select by pressing the Action key on the centre of the pad. Earphone plug (bottom of phone) Sync Connector Sync Connector (bottom of phone) to recharge battery.

Xda IIs - basics New emails: Emails can be created from the inbox by selecting New. • Mobility – Sending an E-mail Type in the email address or select from your contacts (Tap the contacts icon to see list) Select New to create a Message Scroll up to see the Cc and Bcc options. Select Send when ready

  6. Attachments: attachments open up in the relevant program ready for you to view and amend. • Mobility – Opening an E-mail Attachment Email with attachment: Tap the email to open. When you open the email, the attachment shows as a hyperlink: NOTE the white icon - Tap ONCE for the attachment to download. The arrow will then disappear when ready for you to open. Select again to open. The attachment now open in Word.
