  4. Tips to Resignation/Career Advancement • Maintain a Positive Attitude • Offer Transitional Assistance • Follow a Resignation Checklist

  5. Positive Attitude • Regardless of circumstance(s) • Never depart under bad terms • Other words: bad mouthing is unacceptable

  6. Transitional Assistance • Create written manuals & instructional manuscripts pertaining to job duties & expectations • Introduce Successor to clients & individuals he/she will be working closely with • While offering Assistance: maintain your job obligations & duties as well

  7. Reorient • Importance of Positive Attitude • Importance of Transitional Assistance • Importance of demonstrating hard work ethic until official resignation

  8. Resignation Check-List • Following a prepared checklist will decrease the opportunity of: • Creating Bad Relationships • Losing Friends/Colleagues • As well as losing future opportunities

  9. Main Areas of Focus • 1st- Notify Supervisor of Resignation • 2nd- Compose a letter of resignation • 3rd- Prepare for Post Resignation Process
