  3. What Is It? “An interactive whiteboard is a large interactive display that connects to a computer and projector. A projector projects the computer’s desktop onto the board’s surface, where users control the computer using a pen, finger or other device. The board is typically mounted to a wall or on a floor stand.”

  4. How does it work? • The whiteboard is made up of 3 major sections – a computer, a digital projector and the interactive whiteboard itself! • To use the whiteboard it is the same as using the mouse on your computer but instead you use your finger to browse!!!

  5. Why would I want one? • The interactive whiteboard is a great tool that you can use to display ICT to your students while still maintaining the concentration of your class! You can also use your regular programs for example power point to show students, all at once how to better use the great technologies they have readily available to them!
