BUAD Major Admission Requirements • Minimum GPA of 2.0 for All Completed Coursework at TU • Minimum GPA of 2.7 In All Lower –Level Required Courses • Lower-Level Requirement Course • ACCT 201/211 – Principle of Financial Accounting • ACCT 202/212 – Principle of Managerial Accounting • ECON 201/203 – Microeconomics • ECON 202/204 – Macroeconomic • ECON 205 or MATH 231/233 – Statistics • LEGAL 225 – Legal Environment of Business • MATH 211/273 – Calculus for Applications/ Calculus 1 • Computer Proficiency Exam (CPE)

  12. ACCT MAJOR ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS • I. Overall GPA 2.70 • II. Minimum GPA of 2.0 (C) or higher in each lower-level required course • III. ACCT GPA of 2.70 for all upper-level Accounting courses taken at TU • IV. 3 upper-level Accounting courses (9 credits) • a) ACCT 301 – Intermediate Accounting I (Must be taken) • b) 2 upper-level Accounting courses, chosen from: • ACCT 300 – Accounting Information Systems • ACCT 302 – Intermediate Accounting II • ACCT 341 – Management Accounting I • ACCT 361 – Tax Accounting I • ACCT 362 – Tax Accounting II • ACCT 442 – Management Accounting II • Completion of: • a) ECON 205 or MATH 231 (Statistics) with a grade of C or higher • b) One course in either Anthropology, Psychology, or Sociology • VI. Passing score on the CPE exam (70% minimum score required)

  14. BUAD & Accounting Admission to Major Applications Students must submit: • Correctly Completed Admission to Major Application Form • Current Academic Requirements Report or Unofficial Transcript Application Deadline: • October 1 for Spring • March 1 for Summer and Fall

CBE Graduation Requirements • Earn At Least 120 Total Credits • Overall final GPA of 2.0 or higher • Complete All GenEd/Core, Lower-Level, And Upper-Level courses Required by Your Major and Catalog year • Complete All Concentration/Track Courses (If Applicable) • Take Comprehensive Major Field Exam In MNGT 481 • Complete BUSX 460 Course/Concurrent Internship • Apply for graduation Prior to Deadline (Spring, Summer, and Fall)
