  2. Who are we? • Established in 1887 for the promotion of Anglo - Turkish trade - One of the oldest chambers in Turkey - Second oldest outside the UK

  3. Who are we? • Working very closely with the Trade Departments of British Embassy and the British Consulate General • A member of the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Continental Europe (COBCOE)

  4. Statement of Purpose The aim of the BCCT is to help business people develop business between the United Kingdom and Turkey.

  5. Services • Replying to enquiries on trade issues, collecting required information about companies in both countries. • Finding distributors, representatives and agents for you

  6. Services • Providing financial status reports and credit checks on Turkish companies • Handling market researchs to individual needs

  7. Services • Providing information on special legislation and statistical data concerning bi-lateral trade between the UK and Turkey, and general information regarding the economies of both countries • Making referrals to legal and financial contacts for consultation

  8. Services • Assisting British and Turkish businessmen in dealing with problems encountered in trading with their respective countries • Providing the use of reference library and network of contacts to those seeking business partners either in the UK or in Turkey
