  2. Class splits into two groups • Each Group will debate the main points • 10 Minute Quick research & Points on the following: Our roads require an unending amount of gravel and raw materials. Costs to the taxpayer is constantly on the rise. A leading aggregate company is willing to provide product at reduced rates and guarantee little to no impact on the environment via an open gravel pit solution. The Federal government supports the company. All environmental studies and research are all positive. Group A is for / Group B is against Rapid Research

Rules: • One person from each group sits in a chair across a table • The person is the chair is the only person allowed to talk • Anyone from the group can tap the person on the shoulder, who has to immediately stop talking, and take his/her place • Keep it real… • The moderator will introduce or add additional direction as needed throughout debate.   10. We all know about Global Warming • Greenhouse gases / Pollution • Most of us have some idea of how we (HUMANS) affect our environment • This is not a new discussion… Global Footprint

  11. We are mostly water… • Is there a global water crisis? • Will water be the next hot commodity? • Will profit outweigh humanity? HUMANS
