  2. Midnight. Not a sound from the pavement

  3. Has the moon lost her memory. She is smiling alone

  4. In the lamplight the withered leaves collect at my feet. And the wind begins to moan.

  5. Memory, all alone in the moonlight. I can dream of the old days.

  6. Life was beautiful then. I remember the time I knew what happiness was.

  7. Let the memory live again. Every street lamps seem to beat a fantalistic warning.

  8. Someone mutters and a streetlamp sputters and soon it will be morning

  9. Daylight. I must wait for the sunrise. I must think of a new live. And I mustn’t give in.

  10. When the dawn comes tonight will be a memory too. And a new day will begin.

  11. Burnt out ends of smoky days, then stale cold smell morning.

  12. A streetlamp dies. Another night is over. Another day is dawning.
