  1. DO’S AND DON’TS AFTER DENTAL IMPLANT SURGERY

  2. DO REST FOR A FEW DAYS After oral surgery, be prepared for a few day's rest with the family member who can assist with food preparation, child caring, etc.

  3. DO TAKE PRESCRIBED MEDICATIONS Make sure to take the prescribed medication at the time when doctor told. This will help relieve any discomfort and aid in reducing swelling.

  4. CARE FOR YOUR TEETH Make sure to keep the mouth clean by rinsing with warm salt water about four times a day instead of brushing and flossing vigorously.

  5. DON'T EXERCISE Stay away from strenuous activities for the first few days to allow the body to heal and avoid further swelling.

  6. DON'T INDULGE IN OLD VICES Try to reduce bad habits which can increase the risk for complications with the recovery after the treatment.

  7. DON'T SKIP APPOINTMENTS Be sure to attend the regular appointment with the dentist to check the gums are healing properly and to reduce further damage.
