Report Tag and Filter Report Tag A unique Identifier, such as a name or initials, can be entered here to help the user find the softprint file easier. The entry will be a part of the tag and can be searched for at the bottom of the Report Launcher window. Filter After your search criteria is entered, you can enter a file name here and save the search criteria for future searches. Simply use the drop down menu to recover past searches that you have saved.
Trace Types Patient Access Displays what patient records have been accessed. It will not show what has been changed. Patient Audit Trail Displays information about changes to patient demographics or results (displayed in the comment column).
Trace Types Batch Job Displays every print job that is run from the scheduler or manually. Setup Audit Trail Displays all changes made to the setup files.
Additional Parameters Enter any information in the additional parameters line that will be found in the Comment column of the Audit Trail Query. i.e. – Database fields, Test ID’s, Workstation ID’s, SoftPrint files, Setup File ID’s.
Search Tips The Audit Trail Viewer saves information for 6 years and can display 10,000 lines of data! So… Be as specific as possible Narrow the date range Fill out all possible fields Never start by printing Print to “View file” Ctrl F and the buttons are your friends! Use Audit Button in Setup Files first
Audit Returns Each of the 4 types of Audits returns different information. Knowing what these Audits return will allow you to more effectively search for specific events.

Where did my patient’s report print to? Use Patient Access to find the time that a report query accessed the record.
Where did my patient’s report print to? Use Batch Job to find the correlating time and softprint file.
