Things that you need to know. • If you have pets lock them in your house. • You need to wear jeans so you don’t cut yourself. • Wear gloves and safety glasses if you don’t want grass in your eyes and sore hands. • Pick up sticks ,twigs ,and trash. • Make sure there’s a trash can near by. • Mow the lawn clockwise, but make a border.

  3. Step 1: Open the garage door and pull out the lawn mower. Put stuff to the side in the garage. • Clear the path way so you can pull out the lawn mower. • Make sure that your wearing clothes that you don’t care about.

Step 2: Next check the Oil tank, Gas tank, and Grass Catcher to see if they are empty. • Uncap the lid to the oil tank and clean the thin metal bar that’s attached to the lid. • Then stick it back in, and then pull it back out and if needed add Universe 2- Cycle Energy Motor Oil. • Uncap the lid to the gas tank and look to see if it is empty. • Fill the gas tank up with gas and don’t over fill it or it might flood the engine. • That's if you have a Grass Catcher. • Kick the Grass Catcher to see if it needs to be empty. • That’s why you keep a trash can near you.

  5. Step 3: Then if your lawn mower has a red button push it 3-5 times. • But this is only for a gas powered lawn mower. • The red button is almost always at the front of the lawn mower. • But that depends on the type, and kind of lawn mower you get.

  6. Step 4: While holding down the lever/trigger pull the string cord very fast. • But this is only for gas powered lawn mower. • Sometimes you might have to push the red button push it 3-5 times again.
