  3. HR System 9.1 Upgrade Update • Remind employees • view September 28th paychecks by 5pm Wednesday, 9/26 • Employee Self Service will be down 5pm 9/26 through 7am 10/1

  4. HR System 9.1 Upgrade Update • Distributed reports illustrating cross walk for … • Student Workers • Enrolled at least ½ time @ NCSU • Paid hourly via timesheet • Temporary Staff • Paid hourly via timesheets • Include non-NCSU students • Job codes TN910 & TN914

  5. HR System 9.1 Upgrade Update • Temporary Professionals • May need to change FTE to effect change to Comp Rate • Paid Automatically on a biweekly basis based on comp rate

  6. HR System 9.1 Upgrade Update 8.9 Queries • Will be automatically migrated to 9.1 • Changes to Empl Class, Job Codes and Action/Reasons may impact queries • They will run but return inaccurate results • Public queries developed by HR will be updated • Those for which the name begins with HR

  9. HR System 9.1 Upgrade Update Recommended Browsers: • Internet Explorer 9 (Windows 7, Vista) • FireFox 7-15 (Windows, Mac OX X 10.7)

HR System 9.1 Upgrade Update • Supported Browsers (i.e., certified by Oracle): • FireFox 7 & 3.6 (Windows, Mac OX X 10.7 &10.6) • Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9 (Windows) • Safari 3, 4, 5 (Mac OS X only) --Some features will not work with Safari, including the printing of a few reports (PAF Print, Redistribution Printing) ), and this results in an error message that the “REN server is not compatible with Safari”.

HR System 9.1 Upgrade Update • Google Chrome: • not officially certified by Oracle for use with PeopleSoft, and therefore is not officially support for use with MyPack Portal, • however we do attempt to make sure that most features will work. There is a known compatibility problem with the printing of a few reports (PAF Print, Redistribution Printing), and this results in an error message that the “REN server is not compatible with Safari”.
