Data Analysis of Remaining Cases • TCW backlog cohort – 1,573 open cases • Permanency Goals • 802 with a goal of adoption • 90 with a goal of guardianship • 145 living in the parental home • Race • 950 African American children – 59% • 621 White children – 38% • African American children are 42% of total foster care population – why the delay?
