Enhancing Dielectric Properties of Silicone Elastomers with Ionic Liquids Loading

This study explores the application of ionic liquids in silicone elastomers to increase their dielectric permittivity, offering potential benefits in various fields. By increasing the content of ionic liquids, the permittivity and conductivity of the elastomer films were enhanced. The figure demonstrates the relationship between the content of BmimSbF6 and the F*om parameter. Ionic liquids are versatile liquids composed entirely of ions, functioning below 100°C, with excellent properties suitable for diverse applications.
