On February 1st, JCPenney will debut its new store format and pricing strategy There will be a focus on the store within a store concept JCP is getting rid of coupons and sales and moving to an everyday low price model (Memphis 1/31/2012) Say goodbye to sale signs, and all the coupons.New JC Penney commercials are a preview of the store's revamped image and pricing strategy."We're just reinventing JCPenney," says Memphis' Centennial Commons Store Manager David Dickson. He says starting February 1st, the entire store will look different.There will be wider aisles, a focus on modern brands and the idea of a store within a store.
