Emergency Response Organization The Emergency Response Organization (ERO) consists primarily of three functional groups • Field Response Organization, led by an Incident Commander (IC) in charge of mitigating or neutralizing emergencies through the use of strategic, tactical, and task level operations • Emergency Operations Center (EOC), supports the field organization in events where this group is activated and maintains normal operations • Emergency Public Information (EPI), supporting the EOC and Field Level Incident Commander to ensure proper notifications and news media releases are communicated effectively and accurately
