  4. Long Process • Thank Elaine Paradis who started this fight many years ago • Special thanks to Mike Noftsker who did much work at the Principal’s level to make this happen • Thanks to Steve Hiersche and Ann Koufman for their guidance along the way

Where do we go from here?Watertown Athletic Plan • Where is our home (league) • How do we increase our participation? • Activities that kids want • Awards program • Promoting 3 sport athletes • Promoting sports within the town • Collaboration with our Youth and Recreation Programs • Equity within the program so everyone feels a part of it • Town and School Facilities – Evaluation and Updating

Where do we go from here?Watertown Athletic Plan con’t • Athletic Program Conditioning for all athletes • Town-wide backing of chemical health policies • Parental support of academics and school and athletic rules • Town –wide support of sportsmanship • One Booster Club – Philosophy and Implementation • One Seasonal Banquet – for all athletes • Coordination of Middle and High School Athletic Programs • What should the students rally around in terms of spirit?

  11. Other Positive Factors: • Enrollment increasing as senior class leaves • Middle School success and numbers coming • Keeping more student-athletes at home • Middlesex League looking at a model to give relief
