Quiz yourself on the Rules Reminder: The signed Syllabus is due tomorrow and there will also be a written Quiz tomorrow on the rules.
The two ways that I know I am late to class are: • The second bell has rung. • Mrs. Fagan’s classroom door is shut.
To have a pass written by another teacher who can verify that you have been with them.
What gift will I receive if I am late to Mrs. Fagan’s class?
Thank goodness the vending machine has my favorite flavor of Snapple. I’ll just bring it into Mrs. Fagan’s classroom so I can save it for later; she will understand.
Erroneous. There is absolutely no food or drink in this classroom.
I just love chocolate, so I will bring it in for everyone in class to share!
Thank you for the kind thought, however, NO. No food or drink is allowed in this classroom.
What happens if I forget to tuck my shirt in or I don’t tuck it in intentionally and Mrs. Fagan sees it?
You will receive a detention. You should look your best always because who you are is wonderful
Someone asks me for the time, so I take out my cell phone just to peak at the time. One of the teachers notices that I have a cell phone in my hand and they confiscate it. Are they allowed to do that? I wasn’t even texting.
Yes, teachers are allowed to confiscate your cell phones if they are visible. No matter what you are doing with it, if it is visible, teachers are allowed to take it from you.
Ok, ok….so what if my cell phone is OFF in my pocket and I want to show my awesome new bejeweled cover? Are they still allowed to take it from me?
Survey says, YES! It doesn’t matter if its on or off, if we see it, we can confiscate it.
If my cell phone is off at 7:39 and I show it to a friend in the hallway right before home room, will they confiscate my cell phone?
No. Your phone must be turned off when it is 7:50am -2:36pm. Therefore, the moment homeroom begins, your cell phone is fair game. If I see it, I may bedazzle it.
First offense, warning; student may retrieve the cell phone at the end of the day from the Dean of Students.
Second offense, Parents must come to school for a conference with the Dean of Students before the cell phone is returned.
Third offense, Cell phone is confiscated and returned to the parent at the end of the school year.
OMG! I just got this hot new Weezy song on my IPOD! I have to let my friends listen!
I wouldn’t do that if I were you. Cell phones and electronic devices work the same way and are considered the same thing. Leave the Weez for after school.
I want to pay my friends with gum…you know the layered gum! It’s only fair to let them in on the fun!
If you get caught chewing gum, what is the first offense? Second Offense? Third offense?
First Offense-warning • Second- detention • Third- Reported to the Dean of Students.

You should always back your work up because not everyone is as nice as you!
Classroom books should be used as Frisbees and a coloring book!
Technology code of Conduct You do not need to memorize this word for word, but understand it! “Any misuse of technology will result in a loss of computer privileges for a minimum of one marking period. Based on the nature and severity of the violation, appropriate disciplinary action will follow that may include Administrative Detentions, In-School Suspension, or Out –of-School Suspension and possible loss of technology school use for the entire school year.” If information is delete accidentally, you must report is as soon as possible because we might possibly be able to recover it given the right amount of window time.”
