  1. All things bright and beautiful, All creatures dull and squat Whether safe or dangerous They all evolved- the lot! From that first burst of energy From gases turned to suns That then gave birth to planets With life- at least on some

  2. All life on our planet here Whether we’re glad or not Is part of the story here And God loves the lot! Blood sucking ticks and leeches Other invertebrates Have been around for ages Then came the frogs and snakes

  3. Next came all the dinosaurs Some short and some so tall ‘Til a comet hit the earth And wiped out nearly all Then all the mammals spread out As did the flying birds Eventually the primates Including uncle Merv.

  4. God’s been here through all of it Since everything was black God has loved each part of it Now we can love God back! Oh some have lost their way though Hearts dead through doubt and fear So God calls us: return to life Yes Jesus makes that clear!

  5. Love your neighbour, love yourself He said to all with ears Love the God who gives us Life Whose Kingdom has come near Throughout the joy and blessings Amidst the tears and strife God is within, amongst us The Way! Abundant Life!

  6. God’s been here through all of it Since everything was black God has loved each part of it Now we can love God back! Oh some have lost their way though Hearts dead through doubt and fear So God calls us: return to life Yes Jesus makes that clear!
