Project (max 24 points) • the main activity considered for evaluation • can be completed and evaluated by the end of the course • Two types of projects: • Prototyping projects • Evaluation projects • Both types of projects, requirements provided by teachers, in the domains: e-culture, e-tourism, e-learning, e-commerce, e-entertainment
Project (max 24 points) • Prototyping project • Designing and prototyping interface and key functionalities of an interactive application involving either interaction with desktop, mobile, tablet, or touchless gestural interaction using Kinect • Deliverables: design documentation, prototype, presentation, video (optional) • Evaluation project • empirical study: evaluating the quality of the user experience on an assigned application • designof the study, development of the technological setting, testing with samples of real users, data collection and analysis of results • Deliverables: study design documentation, collected data, data analysis, presentation
Project (max 24 points) • Students who attend the Interactive TV course (prof. Cremonesi) can work on a joint project (both types) shared among the two courses and get credits for both exams • Preferably a group work (max 3 students) • Supervised by teachers during the course (only) • mandatory weekly tutoring (project by project, once a week) • Can be extended to master thesis • Consider articipation to Microsoft Imagine Cup “the world’s premier student technology competition”: http://http://www.imaginecup.com
