  2. HISTORIE • Ordet cannabis sativa, eller hamp, stammer fra gamle Kina. • Ordet marihuana stammer fra India. På indisk sier man malihua. Hasjisj kommer fra arabisk og betyr ugress • Cannabisbruk kan spores tusener av år tilbake i historien. De eldste rapportene om medisinsk bruk er over 5000 år gammele. • Under utgravingen av Osebergskipet fra vikingtiden ble det funnet cannabisfrø. • oppdrag fra Dagsavisen utførte Visendi A/S en undersøkelse i 2003 der de sier at over en million nordmenn har prøvd cannabis.

  3. Fakta om cannabis • Alkohol er ca 99.2% dødligere enn THC • Hasj gjør ikke personer aggressive, slik som alkohol kan gjøre. • Ordet narkotika kommer fra det greske ordet narke som betyr bedøvelse • Cannabis er ikke gokjent legemiddel i norge • 984m2 hamp gir like mye papir som 3936 m2 skog.
