Conclusions • distribution of HCV genotypes among HIV-infected individuals was observed with a higher prevalence of genotype 3 (57.1%) in comparison with the general population of Russia (10.5%), that is a favorable prognostic factor for achieving a sustained virologic response in most cases. • HCV genotype 1 predominated in HIV-negative cohort patients (57.7%), which negatively affects the prognosis of treatment and of virusological response in this cohort.
