  1. PRESENTATION TIME: 3 MINUTES Directions: You are giving a birthday speech for a friend/brother/sister/cousin’s/ mother/father/grandparents/aunt/uncle (whoever you want) special birthday. It is your time to write and give the big Birthday Speech. The Speech is a huge deal…all eyes are on you. Use the following questions and topics to help you formulate your speech. BE CREATIVE, ENTERTAINING, FUN AND INFORMATIVE!! Special Birthday speech

  2. Welcome the guest of honor. Welcome the guests: the family members, friends and colleagues. Compliment the guest of honor: you are looking beautiful, great or something like that. Mean it! Briefly describe your relationship to yourself. Why are you invited to speak? Why do you want to speak? How did you meet them? Can you come up with a funny anecdote? Tell them what they mean to you. Mention special people their lives. Refer to the joys of the meal in case you are an after dinner speaker. What are milestones in persons life? In what key events did you play a part? What happened in history the day they were born? WELCOME AND CONGRATULATIONS

  3. Tell a funny anecdote about the relationship. Look for funny speech topics about the birthday person. Tell a happy story of the person. Describe their different characters, be nice and funny! Express how happy everyone is. Thank the guests for attending. A joke or quotation can serve as good closing statement. End your speech with a toast!
