Open questions • PCBs (readout) for Module-0 • Central procurement through CERN ? - Yes • How many companies ? 3 or 4 • Shall we buy the material through CERN and send to companies or ask them to acquire the material? • Costs • How many panels? For one or two modules ? • 1 module: 20 PCBs for S/LM1; 12 PCBs for S/LM2 = 64 total • 4 or 8 pieces / type • How to finance ? Module-0 is NOT part of Core J. Wotschack

  4. Splitting of orders • 12 (or 24) PCBs for SM2 and LM2 each • 20 (or 40) PCBs for SM1 and LM1 each • LM2: all boards exceed L=2187 mm (=> MDT ?) • SM2: can combine smallest PCB with SM1 PCBs • SM1 and LM1: can combine two PCBs in same panel J. Wotschack

  5. Drift panel PCBs • Central order through CERN ? • Single PCB or two PCBs per face? J. Wotschack
