Slide 12:Rounders: STAR Centres Aim: To create a series of centres with a Rounders focus. (Coach Ed, Centre of Excellence, Community Club, Development of ‘Indoor Game’)
4 x Locations so far.
Sport Unlimited will fund the cost of a 10 week indoor pilot to ‘kickstart’ the centre + initial outlay on equipment and coaching
Slide 13:Dunstable Squash Club Aim: To raise the profile of the club and increase recruitment. ( 7 court facility)
Sport Unlimited is funding a rolling 10 week programme across Luton and Dunstable.. 8 sessions in school using mobile wall, 2 @ club.
Progress: *Mill Vale programme complete. V. Positive response, 12 YP attended Club Festival.
